- VeriGuide is an anti-plagiarism application developed by The Chinese University of HK.
It allows facilitators to check for plagiarism of
student’s work with its own text similarity detection engine.
- Respondus is an application for creating and managing exams (quizzes) that can be printed to paper or published directly to Moodle,

- Hot Potatoes suite includes six applications, enabling you to create interactive multiple-choice, short-answer, jumbled-sentence,
crossword, matching/ordering and gap-fill exercises for the World Wide
Web. It is a free software since September 2009.
Exercises created can be imported to Moodle with scores recorded in the Grade Book.
